BeyondTrust has announced three fresh appointments to its executive leadership team. The new appointees, with collectively over 100 years of experience across various industries, are part of the company's strategic growth plans.
Sean Cashin has been appointed as the Chief Customer Officer. Since joining BeyondTrust back in 2018, Cashin has already held several roles within the Customer Success team. He now assumes responsibility for ensuring customers reach their business and cybersecurity targets via BeyondTrust's innovative solutions. His résumé includes operations and customer experience roles in software development, and previous positions at NTT DATA. Leading efforts to enhance customer satisfaction, Cashin will oversee critical functions including Customer Success, Education, Professional Services, Support and Technical Account Management.
Next, BeyondTrust's newly appointed Chief Marketing Officer is Brett Theiss. Theiss will head up the company’s global marketing strategy with a particular focus on reputation and market leadership within the identity security field. Brett Theiss has more than two decades of experience in technology and SaaS marketing and brings a successful track record of driving revenue growth via strategic marketing initiatives to his new position. His ability to construct and lead high-performance marketing teams is showcased by his past roles at Anaplan, Xactly and CA Technologies.
The function of Chief Information Security Officer will now be performed by Michael Machado. Machado will be responsible for strategising and delivering governance of BeyondTrust's information security programme. Bringing over 20 years of experience from global companies varying from early-stage start-ups to Fortune 100 businesses, Machado is an expert in cybersecurity and data protection. His former positions at Shippo and RingCentral, where he led cybersecurity and trust strategies, evidence his abilities to pilot complex security circumstances.
