Another fix for Internet Explorer

31 Mar 10

Users of Internet Explorer should expect a special security
update sometime within the next 24 hours.

Microsoft is issuing some special patches outside of the
normal Patch Tuesday updates, to fix a raft of software issues. At least one of
the problems would allow remote control of a user’s computer.

Microsoft advises this security update is rated Critical for
all supported releases of Internet Explorer: Internet Explorer 5.01, Internet
Explorer 6 Service Pack 1, Internet Explorer 6 on Windows clients, Internet
Explorer 7, and Internet Explorer 8 on Windows clients. For Internet Explorer 6
on Windows servers, this update is rated Important. And for Internet Explorer 8
on Windows servers, this update is rated Moderate.

More information is available here. The updates will require
you to restart your computer.
