18 Mar 2014

Datacom has been named winner of EMC's Outstanding Achievement Award for Premier Partner, New Zealand, with Ingram Micro taking out EMC Distributor of the Year for ANZ.

The awards recognise the achievements of EMC's highest performing partners from the past year.

Gregg Ambulos, EMC senior vice president of global channel sales, says he's impressed with the calibre of EMC partners in ANZ.

“It is really exciting to see the innovative projects and solutions our partners in ANZ are working on with their customers,” he says.

“Australia and New Zealand [are] paving the way for the rest of the world in terms of virtualisation, which is opening up exciting opportunities for our partners and customers moving towards the software-defined data centre.”

Chris Trevitt, EMC's newly appointed ANZ general manager business partner sales, was on hand for the 2013 Business Partner Program Awards ceremony, held in Sydney.

Trevitt takes over the role of directing EMC's business partner program activities in ANZ from Brett Harris who has been appointed to lead EMC's Cambera branch and ACT.
