Interoute wins Cloud Infrastructure Award for second year in a row

​Interoute has come away from the World Communication Awards smiling after taking out the Cloud Infrastructure Award for the second year running.

The awards took place at the Embankment Gardens in London late last month, and Interoute, the global cloud and network provider, asserts are renowned in the telecoms and data centre industries and judged by a panel of experts and academics.

Interoute’s Enterprise Digital Platform was recognised by the judges as the stand out winner on the merit of its Software Defined Network, which optimises access to all applications in the data centre and the cloud.

“Many of the WCA Judges awarded Interoute maximum points for this category. The Judges went on to say that the Interoute Enterprise Digital Platform showed true Software Defined Networking in action and was a great use of technology, delivering high performance and flexible response at scale,” a spokesperson from the event stated.

Gareth Williams, CEO of Interoute, says the company are ecstatic with the results and are looking forward to what the future brings.

“I am delighted to see Interoute’s technology leadership recognised with this industry award for best Cloud Infrastructure for the second year in a row,” says Williams.
