Leadership shakeup at Digital Realty as senior VP departs

04 Aug 2016

Digital Realty senior VP of Sales & Marketing Matt Miszewski will depart the company to pursue other career opportunities, the data center solutions firm has announced.

The departure is a mutual agreement between Digital Realty and Miszewski, according to a company statement.

"We greatly appreciate Matt's leadership and many contributions over the past three and a half years during a period of significant change at Digital Realty, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” comments A. William Stein, Digital Realty CEO.

“Matt has helped prepare Digital Realty to take our organisation to the next level in the data center industry, and he looks forward to seeing those advances bear fruit under new sales and marketing leadership,” he says.

Stein says the firm has engaged an executive recruiting firm to assist with the search for Miszewski’s replacement.

In the interim, members of Digital Realty’s management team will assume his role.

“While we search for a new Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, I will be working closely with the management team to manage a seamless transition for our team and customers,” Stein adds.

Miszewski’s last day will be August 15, 2016.
