Rittal has recently released an IT microsite that provides companies with comprehensive information and advice in an attempt to make modernising data centres considerably easier.
It certainly comes at an opportune time, as the International Data Corporation (IDC) reported that a whopping 73 percent of companies now foresee the need for major modernisation of data centres to keep pace with the speed of digital advances.
These developments include Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data and edge computing.
Rittal’s new microsite provides an extensive review of products, services and integrated solutions that can be considered and tailored to meet a company’s individual needs.
Digitisation has spread rapidly through manufacturing, trade and other sectors, which Rittal asserts means businesses now need a rapid and adequate provision of IT solution, through data centres which can be both procured simply and economically, and operated efficiently and safely.
“As the IDC research highlighted, around 75 per cent of decision-making is now based on information gathered online," explains Clive Partridge, Rittal’s Technical Manager for IT Infrastructure.
“With our new IT website and our expertise, we are providing reliable support for customers in the decision-making process.”
Users of the new site will be able to access practical advice on relevant topics such as big data, cloud computing and IT security, as well as case studies of real-life applications.
The microsite provides a large library of white papers, brochures and references and a live-chat facility to raise questions directly with Rittal experts.
Rittal will be showcasing the microsite at the upcoming Data Centre World 2018 event.
