Adam Dawe has been named as the new director of customer success for Talend's Asia Pacific business.

Reporting directly to Talend's chief customer officer Jamie Kiser, Dawe will be responsible for driving the regional customer success program and leading professional services to ensure the proper implementation of customer projects and use cases.

"Taking care of our customers is a core value at Talend. The customer success team is focused on driving  maximum value to organisations and helping them succeed in their data integration strategies to the cloud," says Kiser.

"I am thrilled to welcome Adam to lead the customer success team in Asia Pacific. He will focus on building our customer lifecycle engagement framework and building the customer success playbook for the region. Adam and the rest of his team are playing a key role in the success of Talend by helping our customers achieve their digital transformation plans."

Dawe brings more than 20 years of industry experience in business and IT to his role at Talend. He has served in technical sales, consulting, and customer success leadership roles across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.

Before taking up his role at Talend, Dawe served as Asia Pacific client success leader at IBM. He led the IBM cloud solutions deployment team across the region, which focused on large customer deployment best practices and also served as the foundation leader for the technical sales team for the IBM Cloud Business Unit.

He has an active interest in the role technology plays in healthcare and climate change solutions, and has been a keen participant in external industry events and mentoring start-ups who are working to solve some of the most significant social challenges.

"Whether its front line management delivering customer projects, running a complex P-L consulting division, or building and coaching teams, I enjoy the interaction with customers and colleagues alike to achieve a win-win outcome," Dawe says.

"I am delighted to join Talend to help our customers successfully deploy our cloud solutions and achieve their digital transformation," he adds.

Dawe completed his tertiary studies at the Canberra Institute of Technology with a major in business, and more recently at the Singapore Management University in Business Industry Insights.
